Pool & Hot Tub Safety
Last updated: September 1, 2026
Golden Palms has a private in-ground pool reaching approximately eight feet deep and a large in-ground hot tub. Water features require constant care and responsible supervision.
Supervision
Children and anyone who is not a capable swimmer must be actively supervised by a responsible adult whenever they are in or near the pool or hot tub. Never rely solely on a fence, gate, flotation device, alarm, or another child for supervision.
Safe use
- No diving, running, pushing, horseplay, or glass in the pool area.
- Do not use the pool or hot tub while impaired by alcohol, medication, or other substances.
- Follow posted rules and do not tamper with pool, heating, cleaning, or safety equipment.
- Use extra caution on wet surfaces and during nighttime use.
- Do not allow anyone to sit, stand, or play on drains or covers.
Hot tub precautions
Hot tubs can pose special risks to children, pregnant women, and people with certain health conditions. Consult a medical professional before use if you have concerns, limit exposure, stay hydrated, and discontinue use immediately if you feel unwell.
Gates and emergencies
Keep pool gates closed and secured. Do not prop them open. In an emergency, call 911 first. Report damaged gates, covers, lighting, or other safety concerns immediately and do not use the affected amenity until it is safe.
Guest responsibility
Guests use the pool and hot tub at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring that everyone in their party follows these rules and the signed rental agreement.
